I don't know whose bright idea it was to have a blizzard in the middle of March, but it was pretty lame. As much as I like to look at snow, having to shovel and clean up is the worst. But, that's what happens when you live in New York. I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of summer...or really any temperature above 50 degrees.
I took the day off from work, because the forecast was for 12-18 inches. Fortunately, we didn't get that much, but it was still more than enough to mess up the subways and make it pretty impossible to leave the house. I made pancakes, went out to shovel a few times, and used my boredom as an excuse to shovel for my neighbors.
After loafing around the house all day, I was getting cabin fever. My roommate Kyla and I went out to walk around the area to see how much snow we got. Here are some of the pictures!
