There's probably a million different things to do in New York City on any given day. But for most of the 8.5 million of us who live in the five boroughs, there just always seems to be something better going on. Checking out museums and waiting in line for pizza is for tourists, and we most certainly are not tourists.
Hear me out now - What if we all lived like tourists in New York City? What if we actually got to experience the most popular things going on in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx, and Manhattan? Would those adventures live up to their reputation? Or do they deserve the eye roll we reserve for places like Times Square?
My name is Jenn, and after 23 years on Long Island, I moved down to Florida for a total change in scenery. After spending 5 years screaming about the lack of pizza and bagels in the south, I've set out to find everything there is to do, see, and eat here in New York City. From the most touristy adventures (sightseeing buses, anyone?) to the most common foods (hot dogs in Coney Island), I'll be trying to do it all, and documenting every event.
Want to join in on the fun? Check out my bucket list, and take your own adventures on social media through #FiveBoroughBucketList. Now, let's be tourists together, shall we?
