Lately, I've been falling back in love with New York City. Even on days and nights when all I want to do is stay in bed and do nothing, I've been forcing myself to get up and go explore. As great as the city is, sometimes you need an escape. That's where Sourced Adventures comes in.
Someone once told me that it seems like everyone in New York City is an artist. Photographers, musicians, writers, actors - everyone has their own thing. It should come as no surprise, then, that finding art in New York City is super easy. Everywhere you look, there's a performance of something, even if it's just people doing SHOWTIME on the subway. For this bucket list item, I wanted to catch some live music, but not pay a ridiculous amount go to MSG or the Barclay's Center.
If you've been on Facebook recently, you've probably seen (in addition to 600 political posts) a video featuring "a New York City bakery with safe to eat cookie dough!" That place is called DO (pronounced like "dough"), and the menu has a bunch of different cookie doughs, baked treats, ice cream, and other assorted treats. The premise, of course, is the dough is safe to eat raw - it has no eggs, and is made with heat-treated flour.
