I know. Broadway. Such a touristy thing to do in New York City. Except, going to see a show on Broadway is kind of the thing to do in New York City. There's a show for every taste. Musicals and plays abound both on and off Broadway, and it's a shame that so many people live here and don't take advantage of it. I've seen shows in other cities and, while they've been great, there's just something about the Great White Way.
They say that running is one of the easiest ways to learn about a new city. But in a city as large as New York, where do you start? Apparently this question is a common one, and New York Road Runners (NYRR) answered the call with its Running History Tour. I managed to snag a (free) ticket and joined them this morning!
It's been more than a week since I completed my goal of moving back to New York. I'm...pretty much all settled, so now is as good a time as any for a recap post on how things have been.
First off, hello from Forest Hills! I'm all moved in and as of 12 hours ago, I finally have the internet in my new place! I've been slacking on the posts because it's hard to blog when you have no WiFi. Before I get to Queens (in a later post), I wanted to post about my last week of goodbyes in Jacksonville!
